The Best Fall Treats to Bake This Year

It’s Fall, and you know what that means: time to get out the Pumpkin Spice and Cinnamon and get baking! I love to bake, but I think we can all agree it’s just not practical in the summer. As the temperatures drop and the best flavors are in season baking starts calling to me again. I feel like Fall is the official season of baking for that reason. Here are five of my favorite Fall baking recipes to try.

Pumpkin Crumb Cake Muffins

Recipe by Sally’s Baking Addiction

I have been making these Pumpkin Crumb Cake Muffins for a few years every time pumpkin season comes around. They are so moist and the crumb topping really puts these over the top. I have noticed that it’s a little easier to do the crumb topping after it has sat for a bit and it firms up. I Usually skip the icing, mostly out of laziness but they really don’t need it. These come out perfect every time and they are a family favorite!

Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls

Recipe by Gimme Delicious

I love Pumpkin Spice as much as the next girl, but Apple and Cinnamon is my real dream combo. These cinnamon rolls are seriously amazing. So gooey and decadent, they should be illegal. I try not to make these too often because I know I will eat way too many in a very short amount of time. Maybe this year I will find some people to share them with, but I will probably stay greedy and keep them all to myself. If I had to pick a favorite treat of all time, this might be it.

Zucchini bread muffins

Recipe by Creme De La Crumb

Another staple in our household, I’ve been making these since I lived in a tiny apartment in my college days. This recipe has came in handy especially in the last few years as friends and family have a large zucchini harvest. Also perfect for when one gets missed and ends up way too large, you could make a whole batch with one jumbo zucchini. These are moist and sweet, everyone I know loves them. If you haven’t tried zucchini bread before or you are skeptical, give these a try and thank me later.

Apple Cinnamon Scones

Recipe by Kylee Cooks

I just tried this recipe for the first time this weekend and it is delicious! Scones are one of my favorite treats, I love that they aren’t overly sweet and they make a great morning snack to pair with a cup of coffee. I’ve made a lot of different scones in the past, but never thought to do apple for some reason. I tried one recently and knew I had to find a recipe to make them myself. This recipe was very easy to follow and turned out great.

Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recipe by Butternut Bakery

I know chocolate chip cookies aren’t really specific to the Fall season, but these cookies just feel cozy to me. These aren’t your classic everyday chocolate chip cookies. These are small batch, bakery style, hand mixed cookies topped with sea salt that feel like an extra special treat. I love making these cookies and displaying them in a cake stand. I also love that it makes a small batch, I feel like it makes just enough for everyone to have a few, but not too many.

I hope you love these Fall treats as much as I do! Let me know if you try any and please share your favorites in the comments. Happy baking!
