I met my husband the summer before my sophomore year in high school. I know it sounds cheesy, but I knew he was “the one” after just a few months of dating. I graduated high school a year early so that we could start our life together and we moved to Santa Rosa to attend Santa Rosa Junior College. I took a gap year after graduating with an A.S. in Business Administration and worked at a Tennis and Swim club which was a lot of fun. We got married in 2019 and moved back to Humboldt to be close to my family and continue my education.

I graduated top pf my class from Humboldt State University in 2021 with a B.S. in Business Administration, Accounting. After college I worked as an office manager, then I switched jobs to work from home bookkeeping while pregnant with our first son in 2022. In April of 2024 I made the decision to become a full time stay at home mom.

Since then I gave birth to our second son and have been navigating life with a toddler and a baby. One thing I love about motherhood is that you are constantly learning and growing. Now that I am out of the trenches of 2 under 2 I have some time to get back into my hobbies and think about the future.

I used to think it was a weakness that I couldn’t stick with just one thing, that I pick up new hobbies and put them down all of the time. However, I realized that my passion is in the process. Learning and researching new things is what I love to do and I want to use this space to share that with you.
